Clopay Update: Clopay Launches Bridgeport™ 2 or 1 Layer Options

Clopay is excited to offer Bridgeport™ 2 or 1 - Layer options to the Bridgeport™ designs. This will come in the narrow and extended designs.

The following provides details of the launch on Bridgeport™ 2 or 1 - Layer:

Available to order on May 2nd, 2022.
Available in the Extended and Narrow design options.
Available in 24 and 25 gauge models.
WindCode® is 24 gauge only.
Ultra-Grain™ and Black colors are 24 gauge only.
Polystyrene construction includes 1-5/16″ thicknesses.
Not available in 18” sections.
The same window options and components used for Gallery® pan are used for Bridgeport™ pan models.

Ultra-Grain® Finishes

Note – Ultra-Grain® finish Bridgeport™ 2 or 1 - Layer doors will have a woodgrain embossed steel surface. Ultra-Grain charges apply. These two colors are only available on 24-gauge models and have a premium finish upcharge.

WINDOW OPTIONS

Clear, frosted, seeded, obscure and rain glass available in single pane or insulated.

Acrylic Options

Note - acrylic windows require special cleaning. Never use cleaners containing ammonia or petroleum products.

OPTIONAL DECORATIVE HARDWARE

Bridgeport™ garage doors come standard with color matched plastic lift handles. Spade lift handles/step plates available at no upcharge. Additional hardware also available, see below.

*Installation location is important for proper door operation. May interfere if placed near top of door.

WINDCODE® AVAILABILITY

Recessed panel models follow the same Windload specifications as Gallery® models with some additional limitations in availability. 25 gauge models will not be available for WindCode due to not having 18” sections.

W1: 24 gauge up to 20’0” wide and 25 gauge up to 18’0” wide. Insulated and non-insulated models available.
W4: 24 gauge up to 18’0” wide. Insulated and non-insulated models available.
W5: 24 gauge up to 16’0” wide. Insulated and non-insulated models available.
W6: 24 gauge up to 16’2” wide. Insulated models NOT available.

Future communications will occur upon receipt of additional approvals.

Widths available: 7’8” to 18’0” in 2” increments
Heights available: 6’0” to 16’0” in 3” increments

24 Gauge Models

Widths available: 7’8” to 20’2” in 2” increments

Limitations / Exceptions

The following widths are not available: 10’2” through 11’4”, 14’8”
Section heights are 21” and 24” only. 18” sections are not available. Door heights that cannot be stacked using only 21” and 24” sections are not available
